Important Flash Update
Adobe released an important update for their Flash Player today to address a vulnerability that hackers are already exploiting, though there are rumors that hackers have already found another exploit that gets around the fixes in the latest patch.
The exploit, part of the Angler Exploit Kit, targets Flash in Internet Explorer and in various Windows operating systems, but the vulnerability also exists in the Linux and Mac versions of Flash Player as well as in the Chrome web browser.
Regardless of what operating system your computer uses, you should make sure to update Flash as soon as possible, even though there is a way around the security update. Adobe plans to address that with next week's release. Windows users can get additional security from the free Enhanced Mitigation Experience Toolkit.
