Emergency Windows Security Update
If you haven't applied the latest Windows update, you should do it now. Microsoft broke with tradition and released a security update today instead of waiting until the second Tuesday of the month, their usual update release. This is in response to weakness they recently spotted and fixed that has already begun to be exploited.
This update fixes a bug in Microsoft Windows Kerberos KDC, which is in charge of authenticating Windows machines on local networks. While it's not seen to be a big threat to home PC users, it is a concern for businesses and other entities as it could allow an unauthorized user to give themselves administrator privileges, thereby giving them pretty much unfettered access to the network.
